Kirby’s bar assault ‘shocking’

A MAGISTRATE has told a court that Rudolph Harold Kirby's high standing in the community aggravated his offending against a young woman at a Mildura bar, which he labelled a "shocking violation".

Kirby avoided conviction in Melbourne Magistrates' Court last Friday and was placed on a community corrections order (CCO) over a sexual assault at The Sandbar in March.
