AN elderly woman escaped unscathed after her vehicle hit a fence in Swan on Monday.

The incident occurred inside the entrance of the Swan Hill Memorial Park cemetery on Coronation Avenue shortly after 9.30am.

Swan Hill police First Constable Deb Moloughney said the 77-year-old Swan Hill woman was driving along the cemetery's gravel track when the vehicle slipped on mud.
