AN army of public hygiene and land maintenance workers will be employed across the Swan Hill municipality to help slow the spread of coronavirus.

Swan Hill Rural City Council has joined 15 other councils to support more than 1000 people into jobs, through the Victorian Government's Working for Victoria fund.
