'Fix the basin plan', says farmers at rally
THOUSANDS of frustrated farmers voiced their concerns over the controversial Murray-Darling Basin Plan (MDBP) at a planned rally on the Murray foreshore yesterday.

Close to 3000 irrigators, business owners and supporters rallied to protest the failure of the MDBP in the southern Riverina town of Tocumwal, calling on the federal government to "immediately pause, review and revise the plan".
