A MAN who allegedly went to his old workplace and stole a firearm and power tools has been refused bail.

Police told Mildura Magistrates' Court the firearm had not been found but they believed the accused, Jade Fell, knew where it was, which posed too great a risk.

They also said Fell had a "fascination" with firearms.
