Eye on the sky after a dry July

JULY proved to be dry as a chip across the Mallee, with grain growers now turning their eye to the sky in search of a much-needed August drenching.

Just 7.4mm fell across 11 days at the Swan Hill Aerodome last month, 19.2mm below the monthly average.
