Driest year on record for Victoria’s north-west

VICTORIA'S north-west has experienced its driest year on record, with the region's dry-land cropping farmers feeling the brunt of minimal rainfall.

According to the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM), 187.2 millimetres fell at the Swan Hill Aerodrome last year, just 2mm more than the devastating drought of 2018.
