District schools join forces for fun day of sports

THURSDAY marked the latest gathering of the Swan Hill District small schools for a fun day of activities including netball and soccer.

Students from Nyah District Public School, Woorinen District Public School, Lake Boga Public School, Son Centre Christian College, Beverford District Public School and Manangatang P-12 College participated in the fun day.

Grades 3, 4, 5 and 6 competed in both netball and soccer games in Swan Hill, with the students competing against the other schools.

While the older kids were busy competing in Swan Hill, students in P-2 were out at Nyah District participating in range of activities including an AFL clinic and visits from Swan Hill Police and a Swan Hill District Health Dietician.
