A PERSON who played golf at Murray Downs Golf and Country Club earlier this month tested positive to coronavirus.

The club's chief executive officer Greg Roberts said the person played at the NSW course on July 4 and 5.

Mr Roberts reassured members and guests that full contract tracing details were provided immediately to the Department of Health and Human Services and a deep clean completed.
