Cracking almond orchard selected

SELECT Harvests is set to snap up Piangil Almond Orchard for $129 million.

The agreement, signed by United Almonds, Bright Light Agribusiness and Lake Lucas Almonds, is expected to close by the end of the year.

Once complete, the deal is anticipated to expand Select Harvests' planted area by 20 per cent and increase almond production by approximately 4600 tonnes in its first year, growing to 540...
