Victorian/NSW border shut as COVID-19 cases spike in Vic

THE New South Wales Government has slammed shut the Victorian border following a spike in COVID-19 cases in the southern state.

The decision to close the borders was made between Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews and New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian following consultations with the NSW Chief Health Officer and Prime Minister Scott Morrison.
