THE body of a man found in the Murray River at Swan Hill at the weekend is yet to be formally identified.

The body was found shortly after 3pm on Saturday.

"While the man is yet to be formally identified, police believe the body is that of a missing Victorian man," a NSW Police spokesperson said.
