Bee breach fines

A FATHER and son have been called before a court for bringing diseased bees and incorrectly marked beehives into Victoria.

They appeared before Robinvale Magistrates' Court last Tuesday, where the 74-year-old father, a beekeeper from New South Wales, pleaded guilty to causing, permitting or allowing diseased livestock or livestock products to be brought into Victoria.
