THE Nyah district is awash with the Christmas spirit with the community invited to join in the festive season at the town's annual carnival tonight.

Held from 6pm until 9.30pm at Nyah West Park, the family-friendly event will have plenty of fun activities and food and drinks on offer, and of course, a visit from Santa.

A new attraction added to the long list of activities this year is laser tag.
