IN 2008, Harry Schlegel's world changed when his sister was killed by her partner.

Some 10 years later in 2018 via Facebook, Mr Schlegel saw there was a walk to be held; 16 Days of Activism promoting gender equity and the prevention of family violence, so he showed up, registered his name and got involved with the Swan Hill District Gender Equity Network.
