Ag code allows for free movement across borders

THREE states and two territories have signed up to a National Agricultural Workers Code that will now allow for the free and safe movement of farmers across jurisdictional borders.

Victorian Minister for Agriculture Jaclyn Symes said the code gave certainty that border closures would not stand in the way of vital work keeping Australians fed and clothed.
