A sign of the times at Murray Downs border checkpoint

POLICE patrolling the Murray Downs border checkpoint have left their mark, erecting a sign with the distances travelled to the Victorian/NSW border.

Police members are travelling hundreds of kilometres across NSW, by airplane and car, to patrol the Murray Downs checkpoint; with one inspector travelling more than 1500 kilometres from Tweed Heads.
