Pye St rail crossing on Curlewis St is the cheapest and best position with the least disruption to traffic when constructing a high bridge approach, with the King St Rail crossing, just up north as planned 40 years ago. 

Much less blocking of traffic, and loss of 22 car parks in the CBD, removing buildings, swimming pool — all at rate payers' cost. 

No lift span costs in the 21st century...
