POLICE were forced to divert outbound traffic on the Murray Valley Highway yesterday morning after a car collided with a power pole.

The collision occurred at about 11.35am at the intersection of Murray Valley Highway and Wattie Street.

Paramedics and CFA members also attended the scene, an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson confirming "no emergency treatment or transport was required".
