SWAN Hill District Health says the hospital’s upgraded emergency department will open on time, despite Tuesday’s Victorian Budget pushing back an ultimate project timeline by 18 months.

Budget papers said the estimated completion date for the upgrade works would be the second quarter of 2026-27, taking construction to between October and December 2026.
