A GROUP of about 40 players took to the course on Tuesday for the mixed par event, with A Grade winner John Tripodi shooting a steady score of -1, ahead of Keith Newman with -2.

The best score of the day belonged to B Grade winner Joel Travaglia, who carded +2 from his handicap of 22, while the runner-up was Tony Wilson with square. The nearest the pins went to Mark Warr
