Tigers down Eaglehawk

WOORINEN easily accounted for Eaglehawk at home on Sunday.

The Tigers were wearing their new jumper for the Bendigo Junior Football League clash, and had no issues with the southern side after a seven goal opening term.

Sharni Ferrari booted a game-high nine goals, while Jordyn Jolliffe and Chelsea Scott kicked four each.

Meghan Williamson and Donal Fellows booted two each, with three other Tigers managing goals in the 24-strong haul.

Jolliffe, Fellows, Ferrari, Williamson, Jade Featherby and Remi Maher were all named in the home side's better players.

It was the Tigers' fifth win of the season and takes them to sixth on the competition ladder, equal on points with fourth-placed Strathfieldsaye.

The Tigers travel to Dower Park in Kangaroo Flat to take on Kyneton in their Round 12 fixture on July 19.

The match will prove vital to both teams' chances, with Kyneton sitting in fifth place also on five wins.
