AS Australia searches for a solution to what has been described as a "national crisis" of gendered violence, local residents are doing their part to ensure everyone is safe at home.

Today is Are You Safe at Home? Day, a campaign led by the peak body for specialist family violence services, Safe and Equal, to raise awareness and funds to prevent domestic violence.
