TRAIN passengers were forced onto a coach service after a V/Line train collided with a vehicle at a level crossing in Kerang on Saturday night.

Emergency services were called to Wellington Street just after 11pm to find the 6.35pm Melbourne to Swan Hill train clipped a van.

No-one was injured in the incident.

The train terminated at Kerang and continued as a coach service to Swan Hill.
