CAROLS were sung and candles lit as St Mary's Primary School students sung in the festive spirit last Thursday night.

Staged at Riverside Park in Swan Hill, students performed a combination of modern and classic carols in front of family and friends.

Picnic dinners were enjoyed as a large crowd joined in the singing, many dressed in traditional Christmas colours of red and green.
