Two CFA vehicles stolen and dumped

POLICE are hunting heartless thieves who allegedly stole two Country Fire Authority (CFA) vehicles over the Easter long weekend. 

One of the white Holden sedans was found burnt in New South Wales, while another was located on Monday on Deadhorse Lane in Swan Hill.

A police spokeswoman said offenders gained access to the District 18 headquarters, on Curlewis Street, some time between Thursday, April 18 and 8am on Saturday, April 20.

Both vehicles beared government registration plates.
