The purpose of the Seven News Young Achiever Awards is to acknowledge, encourage and promote the positive achievements of all young people in Victoria up to and including 29 years of age.

The 28-year-old, who has spent 16 years with the Swan Hill Theatre Group, was nominated for the Academy Graphics Regional Achiever award for her long-term commitment to performing, stage construction, media content, directing and fundraising.

"You get addicted after being here for more than half your life and you just keep coming back," she said.

"It's such a great way to grow, progress and challenge yourself.

"Every year is different and there's always someone or something new, I love it."

Ms Rose has demonstrated this love for theatre to many others, giving many community members the same great opportunities to express themselves and feel a part of an inclusive group.
