Two people have died following a two-vehicle collision at Euston this morning.
The crash happened about 6.40am when a Volkswagen Passat travelling north on Murray Valley Highway, Euston, and a Holden Colorado travelling south collided in the southbound lanes.
The driver and front passenger of the Volkswagen, both believed to be women aged in their 20s, were airlifted to a hospital in Melbourne in a serious condition.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said both women had suspected back, neck and leg injuries.
The two rear passengers died at the scene.
The driver and sole-occupant of the Holden, a woman aged in her 20s, was taken to Mildura Base Hospital with minor injuries.
Officers from Barrier Police District attended and a crime scene was established.
Detectives will investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash and anyone with information or dash cam footage is urged to come forward.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
