FOR the first time this season, Swan Hill have hit double figures with a 10-0 dismantling of Moama-Echuca in Sunday’s BASL division two clash at Ken Harrison Reserve.
The scoreline tops the Swans previous best haul of nine goals which came in the reverse fixture back in round 10.
Michael Kadar and Joseph Costa both scored second-half hat-tricks as Swan Hill went on with proceedings after leading 4-0 at the break.
Another three goals for Costa takes his tally to 29 goals with a game to play — 15 goals clear of Shepparton South’s Tom Tennant.
Daniel Wigston-Richards also continued a fine run which has seen him score in each of the three games he’s played this season.
His two goals came 24 minutes apart during the first half, either side of a Mohd Bin Sukri strike and minutes before Danny Jee’s first goal of the season in the shadows of halftime.
The result sees the Swans climb to seventh ahead of Epsom and takes their goal difference well into the positives ahead of the final game of the season in Strathdale on Sunday.
