EVEN from the grand heights of AFL football, Adelaide Crows big man Josh Jenkins is still doing his bit for the Lake Boga Football Netball Club.

The former Magpie turned three goals into $1500 for his junior club in last month’s Round 14 match against Hawthorn.

As part of Toyota’s ‘Good for Footy’ program, $500 was donated to a nominated junior club for all goals kicked in a handful of matches across the weekend.

Jenkins nominated his former club and picked the right weekend to kick a bag with his three majors providing a financial boost for the Magpies.

The cash-for-goals incentive is part of Toyota’s Good for Footy program, which has helped hundreds of local clubs develop better facilities, improve coaching, purchase new equipment and attract more players.

"The money will go towards ensuring the boys have the equipment required to keep on improving and enjoying the game which is fantastic,” Lake Boga FNC president Hayden Hogan said.
