Kangas playing it cool

Cohuna Kangas and Kerang will clash tomorrow with the victor becoming the last undefeated side

COHUNA and Kerang will face-off for the prize of being the last undefeated side in the Central Murray, but the Kangas aren't letting the occasion get to them.

The two local rivals this week face off in Kerang, where the Kangas will be looking to become the first side to win at the venue since 2015.

Few would have expected the Kangas to be sitting alongside the Blues with four wins from as many games, none more so than the Kangas themselves.

"I don't think we expected to be 4-0," coach Scott Beattie said.

The Kangas are keeping their cards close to their chest and are treating Saturday's clash the same as any other game.

A star-studded Blues line-up will have a number of players returning form interleague duties last weekend, but will be without the services of coach Travis Matheson (broken foot) and Troy Coates (back).
