THIS is the last chance for local amateur cooks to apply for the opportunity to represent the Swan Hill region in the next season of My Kitchen Rules.
The Guardian general manager Rob Duffield said entrants needed to apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
"At the moment we have a few serious entrants who would be perfect for the competition," Mr Duffield said.
"But we are still looking for more applicants so we have a wide selection to choose from.
"It's important that applicants are amateur cooks and don't work professionally."
With the assistance of a local professional chef, The Guardian will select the best credentialed amateur cooks and assist the pair through the My Kitchen Rules application process. The key aim of the local initiative is to have the chosen contestants promote the region's abundant high quality food and produce on the popular national lifestyle program.
My Kitchen Rules contestant application criteria states that team members must have a pre-existing relationship, be at least 18 years of age and be Australian citizens or permanent residents. To register your team's interest call Rob Duffield at The Guardian on 5032 2161 or 0418 302 943.
The final date to get your applications in is May 12.
