Linda Gannon is sporting a brand new look after braving the clippers for the World's Greatest Shave on Wednesday.
Ms Gannon, an education support worker at the Swan Hill Specialist School, said the event was incredibly moving.
"I had the whole school looking on, which made me cry," Ms Gannon said.
"You get a lot of support here."
Ms Gannon said the new look also attracted a lot of interest, with plenty of students and staff keen to run their hands over her freshly shaved smooth head.
Ms Gannon surpassed her goal of $2000, raising $2243 for a cause that was close to her heart.
"I'm able to help somebody," Ms Gannon said.
"Sometimes cancer is a silent killer."
