THE historic Tyntynder homestead will host an open garden event on Sunday, May 5, from 10am to 2pm.

Swan Hill musicians Kevin Casey and Barry Macintyre will provide background music for people visiting one of the area’s historic homesteads.

Although the homestead itself will not be open, the Friends of Tynynder group is hoping to eventually re-open the site as a tourist attraction.
