TESS Darby recently competed at the Royal Melbourne Summer Horse Show at Werribee Park Equestrian Centre.

Tess represented Riding for the Disabled (RDA) Swan Hill.

The young rider was successful in winner Smallest on Parade and Rider classes, with second place in Mount and Pairs.

Tess is pictured on Prinz, her gelding, who is one of eight very special horses used for hippotherapy for adults and children with disabilities.

An RDA member for 10 years, Tess is also a member of Nyah District Pony Club.

The new RDA year commences on March 20 at 10am, with rider assessments and new volunteer orientation.

Any new volunteers would be made most welcome.
