IMPRESSIVE performances came from two senior clubmen this week, with Woorinen captain Danny Hegarty scoring the summer's first double hundred and Ultima TUF president Andy Abbott scoring his second century of the season.
Both batsmen put their team in a commanding position thanks to the knocks.
In the round's other games, Swan Hill is in control over RSL and Nyah District has the upper hand over Tooleybuc Manangatang.
Swan Hill v RSL
EARLY wickets have put Swan Hill in the box seat against RSL at the showgrounds.
Batting first, the home side made a relatively modest total of 130, with captain Glenn Violi top-scoring with 47.
Mitch Seton-Stewart played an important cameo role with Violi, scoring 22, to prevent a total top-order collapse.
Pat Caldwell and Beau Bennett were the pick of RSL's bowlers, taking 2/19 and 2/18 respectively.
Scott Worner, Brenton Gurnett and Ryan Twentyman all fell cheaply to see the visitors in a perilous position at 3/25.
Craig Fletcher is the not out batsman on seven, while Xavier Moloney claimed 2/12 for Swan Hill.
