VICTORIA Police officers sign up for the job at many stages of their lives, for Constable Kalon Wilkins the decision came in his late 30s when he decided his work was no longer engaging.

At the end of February this year and at the age of 40, Constable Wilkins graduated from Victoria Police Academy, returning to Swan Hill as an officer.
